Description

When you assume that the compromise or average between two views must be the correct choice. In other words it is to say that if one person says "A", and another says "C", then the answer must be "B".

Example

My doctor says that BeefcakeTM supplements are useless but my fitness coach says I should take six per day so I averaged them out and take three per day.
