When you arrive at a factual conclusion from a moral judgement, or saying that something should be and therefore it is.

Example

I refuse to believe in evolution because it states that humans are just animals which means that cruelty is in our nature.

Famous Examples

Adolf Hitler, for instance, was an avid evolutionist. In order to comprehend Hitler's reasoning, one must go back to evolution to understand why he did the things that he did, and thought the way he thought.
